computer doesn't start correctly the screen stays white but nothing happen and i have the feeling the computer is quiet hot

as we were using our computer as usual a message suddenl appeared asking us to turn the computer off.

and now it's impossible to turn it on : the screen stays white and the apple doesn't show up

we also have the feeling the computer is quiet hot

does someone knows what is going on ?
