Can't signout from iCloud

I am attempting to signout from iCloud on my work Mac mini. I receive the prompt to quit all applications. I am unable to remove the check from the check box on keychain. Have tried a suggestion I saw connected to Safari preferences. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
