Cannot connect to outgoing mail server for iCloud on ipad
I have recently created an iCloud email account for a family member on their iPad - *****@icloud.com.
I had recently created one for myself on my iPad and it works perfectly.
However, after I had created it, I found that the account will receive mail but not send using the mail app.
Upon sending, after a few minutes, the message -'Cannot connect to outgoing mail server for iCloud' appears.
I have tried to re-input passwords / usernames into the outgoing mail server section, but on an iPad this is greyed out and not editable.
This iPad also uses a 3g connection (ee) and is not used on wifi, but i doubt that makes any difference.
If anybody has had a similar experience could you possibly let me know if you found a solution.
