Jun 29, 2015 10:52 AM in response to davie.2009by davie.2009,Thanks to all those posting advice, adwaremedic removed the adware, no more pop ups when browsing. Please note the adware was picked up from a 'web cafe' free wifi venue, unfortunately for me the firewall was not active or had been deactivated allowing free access to my macbook. Shift and restart did not fix the issue but thanks again. PS I have remove detox my mac !
