MacBook Pro 13" (OS X Yosemite): Cannot log-in to site. returns "Safari Can't Open The Page"

MacBook Pro 13" (OS X Yosemite): Cannot log-in to site. returns "Safari Can't Open the Page" (see below).

History:

Registered for BaseCamp.com using Safari.
BaseCamp prompted me to log-in with email & password.
When I did the BaseCamp page wouldn't load. Returned the error message attached below.
Tried several times to log-in & did the following always with the same returned error message:
- Cleared Safari of cookies & all browser data, relaunched Safari
- Relaunched my computer
- I have no extensions
This has happened before periodically with other sites but I've been able to get around problem using the above procedure.

Any ideas? any help??

1. Can you run dig base camp.com from OSX Terminal?
