AirPlay won't stay connected or mirror on iPad 2

Hi,

For some reason my iPad2 won't connect to the AirPlay.

I am able to find the AirPlay button and I see my Apple TV listed and I click on it and turn on "mirroring" and for a brief moment there is a check next to it and then it's as if it reloads 15 seconds later and the Apple TV box disappears and just has "iPad" listed with a check next to it and a second later the Apple TV is listed again. Sometimes the Apple TV box doesn't disappear it just does the quick reload and goes to having a check next to "iPad"

I am up to date on all my software, my iPad is connected to the same network as the Apple TV, my AirPlay is turned on in Apple TV as well as Confrence Room Display.

Also, it works just fine on my iPhone 6...so I know there isn't anything wrong with the Apple TV itself.

Please Help!!
