The above boots to Recovery. When you do that does Disk Utility see the hard drive
Sorry I accidentally wrote faded button Actually it's when it asks to choose a place to re install the software there is no option

That would indicate that either HD died or a loose connection.
Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

check for a loos connection/replace the HD using these instructions. make sure you select your model Mac
I have a Mac mini with the software of osx Yosemite. Anyway one day I started up my Mac mini but a flashing folder with a question mark starts to blink. I tried to reinstall the osx but the button is there one I click on it nothing happens. Help!
