Apple pay doubts

I had bought an iphone 6 from India. Will I be able to use apple pay in the US when I go there?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

According to https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201469 you need to have a bank that is on-file with Apple, so be sure you are using a participating bank.

To setup Apple Pay, the region on the iPhone needs to be set to 'United States' and you need to have a credit card from one of the participating issuers (which are all US based). Sometime in July, Apple Pay will be made available in the United Kingdom.
