Q: Transferring photos to iphone
Hi,
I"m still a little new to the'Photo's' replacing iPhoto is still a little bit confusing. I'd like to ask if anyone knows how to transfer photos from photos to my iPhone?
I'm using Yosemite and an iPhone 4(I have a mini iPad as well).
If not, is there any other way to get photos from photos to my iPhone?
Thanks
iMac (20-inch Early 2009), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Photos is not a replacement for iPhoto - it is a new and different program in addition to iPhoto which is still in your applications folder - you need version 9.6.1 - if you are not up to date see Can't Update iPhoto because it is not available in the App Store
With no details we can only guess but there are several potential ways to get photos to the iPhone (or to any IOS device)
The easiest and best way is to use iCloud Photo library with a common Apple ID on all devices - then every thing is always up to date and al changes made on any device are reflected on all devices
Other way to get photos fro the Mac t the iPhone include PhotoStream and iTunes Sync
