    If you are using the Mac Mail app, might be a minor corruption.


     

    With the Mail app open select Inbox on the left.

     

    From the Mail menu bar click Mailbox > Rebuild

     

    It only takes a few minutes.


     

    Then restart your Mac. Then see if mail stays deleted.
