How to selectively save photos to iCloud.

We are providing iPads to mobile field workers. They will be able to complete job forms and take work photos with the iPads.

They will be allowed some private use of the devices including taking private photos.

We want them to be able to save the private photos to iCloud.

However we and they don't want work photos going to their personal iCloud storage.

Is there a way to differentiate the two sets of photos (work vs personal)?

Can we use a different camera app that doesn’t save to the Photos folder on the iPad?

Does Apple have an OOTB solution to this?

Any business solution would be appreciated.

You can set up multiple iCloud accounts in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud. Each account will require a separate Apple ID, and you can only create three iCloud accounts on each iOS device or Mac (although you can sign into more than three on a device if the additional accounts are created on other devices).

However, there are limitations such as secondary accounts can't use Photo Stream, Documents, iCloud Backups and Find My iDevice only the primary account can be used for those functions. So, I'm not sure if this will solve your issue about photos.
