iMessage not working for one contact on my Mac

One contact I can no longer send a message on my computer. I'm puzzled! Is the problem with Air Drop?


The drop down has says 'not registered' So how did it get that way?


Any help would be great...Thanks

Are you sure this person has an Apple device and that the phone number or Apple ID hasn't changed?

I am having the same problem but can not fix it

I have just upgraded my iphone to the iPhone 6S from the 5S. I gave my wife my 5S which I had reseted but now our iMessages done not work with each others numbers. I can send iMessages to every other iPhone contact except this contact. I have rebooted, reset and signed out and signed back in on both devices but nothing seems to work. I message is turned on, on both devices. both devices are using the latest IOS
