Password the Same Across All of Apple?

Seems like every time I ever come to the Apple Support Community the page is saying that the saved (Firefox) password is wrong. So I start a new password again. Here is a silly question: Is same password for the Apple Support Community also the password for my iCloud?

As this messing with passwords and I'm unable to access my iCloud.

Related: The only remaining reason I even have an iCloud is to run "Find My iPod"... will I need a password to run "find my iPod" when that day comes?

You have an Apple ID and a password that you have associated with it. A password only has one direct association - the one you made. Anything that requires a password will need it when you use that item. This includes Find My Phone that uses your Apple ID's password.
