I'm running 10.9.5 on my iMac. I have a password protected external hard drive. I inadvertently checked "Remember my password in this keychain" after entering my password. How do I undo this?

Open Keychain and edit the file.
Open Keychain and edit the file.
Choose Utilities from the Finder’s Go menu, open Keychain Access, and remove that item.
