Reinstall Youtube on Ipad Mini 3
I uninstalled Youtube since it was crashing repeatedly. Is there a way to reinstall? The Get button does not appear in the App store.

If the "Get" button does not appear, what do you see? It really helps if you describe everything in detail. Please provide more information.
Thank you for the reply. In place of Get there is an icon with a cloud and a blue arrow pointed down. Apps that I can download have the Get button.
I apologize - this is my daughter's lpad and I am not very familiar with how all of this works.
Tap on the icon with the blue arrow pointing down. The app should download from iCloud. That's what that cloud icon with the download arrow means.
The "cloud" icon Demo describes in his post means the app has already been purchased (a paid or a free app) and is available to you at any time (as long as you have an internet connection) as it resides "in the cloud" (in this case, on Apple's cloud servers).
When I tap on the icon with the blue arrow, nothing happens. This icon is a bit more faded than the demonstrative Get icons with a plus sign, deeper blue text and box. Seems like this icon is just for information, but I don't know how to get the app back from iCloud.
The app does not work on the device. I can only run videos with the web version of YouTube on Safari.
One other detail - unferneath the name of the app YouTube the word 'Essentials'. Not sure if that is meaningful.
I made sure that I am logged in with our Apple ID thinking that might help, but still no luck.
Again, appreciate the help.
Go to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Sign Out. Then sign back in. Go to the App Store and see if it downloads now when you tap the cloud icon (that icon just means that own the app, in other words, you've downloaded it in the past).
I tried logging out and in again, but tapping the icon still does nothing.
Do you use restrictions on your daughter's iPad? If you do, you might have restricted the downloading of certain content. Settings>General>Restrictions. Take a look in there (if you use restrictions) and make sure that you don't have content restrictions.
Yes, that was it! I disabled parental restrictions and the cloud icon with blue arrow activated.
Thanks you all very much! My daughter will be happy to have YouTube back.
When I read the "icon is a bit more faded" in your post above, it hit me that restrictions might be enabled. I'm happy to hear that we were able to help.
