I am using windows 7 on bootcamp on my imac late 2011.I got an update for windows 10.My doubt is that can i upgrade windows directly from windows 7 or will i have to bootcamp it?
Also,would all the festures of my iMac work with windows 10?

Bootcamp support software 5.1.5621 (available here Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5621)
is supposed to have drivers compatible up to Windows 8.1.
According to Microsloth, if things work with Windows 8.1, they should work with
windows 10, however, that remains to be seen.
I will say that when I did the 8 -> 8.1 upgrade in the bootcamp install on my
MBP, I had to use Disk Utility it repair the drive in order to boot Windows as
8.1 did some sort of corruption to the boot table.
i installed windows 7 64bit ultimate on my imac mid 2011 and have since upgraded the windows install without changing anything in terms of bootcamp to
win8 first and then to win8.1 in both cases it's been unstable in terms of bootup until apple released official bootcamp drivers for my amd video card
