data transfer using migration assisant - how slow is this?
Started Migration Assistant 20 hours ago. How long should it take to transfer 400GB of data?
iMac, iOS 8.3
About two days, give or take, using USB 2.0.

i'm using ethernet cable
Maybe one day if you're lucky. Figure about as fast as it would take to copy 400 GBs from one USB 2.0 drive to another. The more small sized files there are, then the longer it will take.
