I upgraded my Macbook Pro to 10.10.3 and my iWork 08 apps stopped working. Pages are blank, but show "invisible" writing when highlighted. Any suggestions?

The older version of Pages won't run on v10.10.3 Yosemite. You will have to upgrade.
Open the App Store then select either Featured, Top Charts, or Categories from the menu then type Pages in the search field top right corner of t he App Store window.

iWork '08 does work on Yosemite, it sound like you didn't update your installation to the latest version iWork '08 3.03.
