My phone is clicking on things when I am typing and in applications and on the home page, how can I fix this? It does these things even when I'm not touching it.

Basics from the manual are restart, reset, restore.

Try those

It could be 2 problems

1) software: you Should reset/restore your device or update ur software version

IF problame still continue then

2) hardware: show technician touch pad is working perfect Or not

Yes you could try device reset settings

follow steps-> settings-> general-> reset ->reset all settings

You can also do erase all content and data... But before do that make sure take full backup of your device in icloud or itunes
