OpenGL support on Yosemite

Hi,

I have a MBP Retina 13-inch Early 2013 and I am trying to run Matlab 2014b in my computer. In order to get smooth graphics, I need to have OpenGL 3 or later according to this page (http://ch.mathworks.com/help/matlab/creating_plots/system-requirements-for-matla b-graphics.html). Although OpenGL 4.1 is supported by Yosemite on my device (Mac computers that use OpenCL and OpenGL graphics - Apple Support), when I check my current OpenGL version in use, it states version 2.1 INTEL-10.0.86 and I am unable to get smooth graphics on Matlab. Is there any way to make Matlab, or any other application, to use the latest version of OpenGL provided with Yosemite?

Thanks

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
