The Whole "Creating Overviews" Thing...

Please tell me there's a way around this "Creating Overviews" process every time I open a project. I've applied some of the known solutions, but I'm still having to deal with it. It's so bad with some of my projects, I could go and have breakfast while the projects loads.

Any real solutions to this?
