Battery life lasts 2-3 hours, lasted almost whole day before going to Aruba...

I have an iphone 5c with iOS 8.3. I went to Aruba in May for a week. I used the wifi and no cellular service. I initially tried to roam and use the phone but that didnt work so I didnt use it. Since I have been back (last 2 months), the battery will be at 100% and then die within a couple hours. Even with no apps open and just sitting there. Is there something that happened or some setting that may have been turned on for this to happen? Before my trip and during it lasted almost the whole day, now it does not. Anything I can do?

If the the steps described in the articles above will not work, take you phone to the Apple Store for further diagnostics.
