it wont turn on and plugged it into my iTunes and put it on recovery mode I updated it and still nothing will i lose my pictures if I restore it???

I think you'll have to restore. There is probably something wrong with the software.
If the restore gives an error in iTunes or if nothing happens, you'll have to contact Apple.
If you made a backup on iCloud or iTunes you can try to get them back that way.
If iCloud Photostream or Photolibrary was enabled, it is possible that your pictures will come back automaticly.
