I do not remember my original apple ID how can I activate my ipod after restoring it

I have an ipod 5th generation, I forgot my password so I restored my ipod but now I can not activate it because I do not remember my original apple id. What can I do?

If it's on the activation screen then you will have to find or remember the id that you were using in Settings > iCloud to be able to reactivate it. Do you have any of the account's downloads in your computer's iTunes library : Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name - Apple Support

Or you could try finding it via http://appleid.apple.com : How to find your Apple ID - Apple Support

If you still can't find it, and if you were the original purchaser of the iPod (i.e. it wasn't bought second hand) then you could try going to an Apple Store (make a Genius Bar appointment if you do) or try contacting iTunes Support online (http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/) and see if they can remove the iPod from the account - they are likely to want to see proof of ownership e.g. original receipt with the serial number on it
