60W MagSafe Power Adapter of Macbook Pro

I am using MacBook Pro and its adapter is 60W MagSafe Power Adapter. Suddenly today when I was charging my mac and doing work on it, it stopped working. i interchanged the adapter and the ac power cord with my brother's one and found that my adapter has problem.I am not finding where is the problem and what I have to do?
