My phone is frozen.
Displaying an iTunes plug in icon.
Its displaying on my PC an update or restore request.
Selected update, but isn't excepting it.
It wants to restore to factory settings.
And not doing that as I will lose info.
HELP.

The iPhone is telling you it has entered the recovery mode and you must connect to a computer running iTunes by following the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212

Not sure why you would lose info. Surely you back up the phone regularly, and take advantage of automatic iCloud daily backups?
