I want to delete emails in my account that are older than one year. Is there a way to set a rule that deletes all old email?

I have many old emails that have piled up over the years. Is there a way to delete emails that are older than a certain date automatically? Like say anything older than one year in the main email account not the folders, they could just be deleted automatically with a rule. How would I accomplish this?
