Editing Sony FS7 4K Footage

Hey everyone. I have a project I'm trying to use FCP X for that was shot partially with a Sony FS7. From what I understand, FCP X should now support the footage. When I imported it, I got a green screen for all the clips. I then downloaded Sony's XAVC/XDCAM FCP X Plugin and now I get just the audio. What am I doing wrong? Everything is as up-to-date as possible. It imports perfectly into Premiere, just not FCP X! I've seen there are programs out there to work around this, but I don't have the money for them. This is ridiculously frustrating. If anyone has a solution (preferably one that isn't a $100+ application), it would be greatly appreciated!
