Iam using iPhone4S64GB,iOS8.3is installed.I noticed thatiCloud backuphas stopped workingabout a month ago.I tried to Disable/enable thebackup,but it didn't help. The last thingI do isdelete a backup, turned offbackupto iCloud, rebooted the phone and turned on back up.8 hourspast and thebackupis still runningwithout displayingthe remaining time. Any ideahow to fix this?

For iCloud backup to work automatically the phone must be connected to power and WiFi. The time a backup takes is almost totally dependent on your Internet connection speed.
I can assure you thatcharge the phoneevery night.My Internet speed20Mbit. Evenif you round upit will be7GB per hour. As far as Ican seeactivity on the router,tothe ninth hourof workactivityis almost there.The size of thebackupcopy onicloud633MBanddoes not change.During this time,problemswith the Internet was not.
I am seeing exactly the same symptoms on the exact same phone. icloud backup stopped working in early June; last successful backup June 4.. Phone is left plugged in to recharge overnight everynight and Wifi is always on. Has been backing up fine for a couple years but now will not. If I manually attempt to start the backup it either sits forever with the "Estimating time remaining" message or eventually just conks out.
I solved this problem for me. Mybackuplasted about16 hours. At the end of the processI gota pop-up window asking login and pass. After entering the password,the backupwas completed. Next two backups finished without problem. I suppose, logout/login to iCloud could fix this problem.

I upgraded to IOS 8.4 which came out today, then logged out and back in to iCloud and finally got a manual backup to work. With some luck maybe it'll keep going automatically again now...
