can i set up a password protected album in iPhoto?
iPhoto 9.6.1.
Not a problem but a user question. Is it possible to open a photo album that is password protected?

Nok it's not even possible to password protect an iPhoto album. If you want to protect some photos put them in their own separate iPhoto library and put that library in a password protected disk image that you create with Disk Utilitiy.
