How do I shut down and/or restart my iPad Air 2 when it's frozen in a screen (Safari) and nothing, including the On/Off button, works?

Try to do this:

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
Press and hold on the Home button
Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Hold the On/Off button and the Home button down together for 10 seconds or so.
