iPhone 5s Cannot be Synced

Today, I plugged my iPhone 5s into my Macbook Pro for syncing purposes. I got an error message that said my phone "cannot be synced because there is not enough free space." When I looked at the status bar at the bottom, I noticed a huge section of "video" space being taken. I have no videos on my iPhone. So, I closed iTunes, restarted my iPhone, and tried again. My phone showed 3.5gig of available space. Once I tried to sync again, the sync error message came up again, and the "video" (4.6gig) was there again, even though there are no videos on my phone.

I upgraded to IOS 8.4 and tried again and got the same result. My iPhone 5s is a 16gig version.

I have attached a screenshot of the status bar. Can anyone offer a solution?

Thanks
