I am making a DVD out of a production I've done in FCP. The client handed me a DVD they had done, and asked if I could add their file on the DVD I am producing. Can't find anything that says how to do that. Tried adding a .cdr file, and the vob off their disc, but it comes in as unsupported.

Once you have done that, generate a new DVD Asset from it in Compressor (MPEG 2 Video and AC3 Audio) and you can include it in the build of your disc.

Nick: Thanks! I took the tutorial, and noticed there is a coice to "demux"; inside there were several choices, and one was mpeg 2 and aif, or mp3 audio, etc. Seems like that would save a step, as I could take those files into DVD Studio Pro, without going thru the Compressor step. Or would that lose quality? Which is better?
