Someone told me that it would be a good idea to update my safari browser. Now i have 6.1.6. i am using mac os x 10.7.5
What are the advantages or disadvantages to upgrade. I do not even know what to upgrade to. need your help

Safari 6.1.6 is the last version of Safari that will run on OS X 10.7.5 so if you want a more current browser you choices would be to update your OS X to a later version or to use an alternative browser such as Firefox.
