How do I download iTunes 12.2?

When I try to sign up for Apple Music, it says I need iTunes 12.2 but when I click the download link it takes me to iTunes 12.1.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Funny thing is that at http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/download/I can download the PC version, but not the Mac OS X version. Claims it does both but only gives me an .exe file.

Also a link at the bottom of the page points to a Mac Version (On a Mac?) but sends me to the 12.1 version...

What makes this whole situation irritating for me is that I don't give a s*** about Beats1. When I'm working I like to listen to my own playlists. Do I have playlists in iTunes? Yes... but they're tiny compared to the huge playlists I've assembled on Spotify. I guess I'll have to stick to that service for now...

Same here, it's extremely unlikely Beats1 will play any music I would actually enjoy. Maybe the Classical station might be worth it, though I doubt they can do better than my local station, but the fact that they lump Reggae in with "World Music" is a huge red flag. What makes Apple Music so interesting is that I can combine my iTunes Match music with unpurchased Store music. Basically it's what I've always wanted Spotify to have.

And smart *** comments don't help either.

Apple apologists line up here, right behind Csound1.

People have every right to be frustrated and angry about the poor release of iTunes.

If you don't have anything useful to say, then just ignore this thread and move on.

I guess that won't happen though as your goal in life appears to be to post one line rude posts.

I am through with this thread, as per usual, people who have a genuine beef are mobbed by others for whom Apple do no wrong.
