How do I download iTunes 12.2?

What an absolute balls up. I'd been wondering for days how I was supposed to be able to listen to Beats1 and the information is completely lacking, except for iOS.

Now we're all being told we have to have iTunes 12.2 but it's nowhere to be found. It should have been out in preparation for the station launch weeks ago.

It's like not putting radios on sale until AFTER you've gone on air. Does Zane know that no one was listening for the first 30 minutes lol

Epic Fail just doesn't cover it.

Same here. updated IOS to 8.4 , got new Apple Music but no iTunes 10.2.2 in OS x !!

They knew there wouldn't be a huge audience. Zane kept giving shout outs to "the early adopters" for the first 30 minutes or so.

Could they have done better? Sure. But nothing's ever perfect and they went after their bigger, more important audience first with iOS. And those of us on desktop have to wait a whole 5-6 hours... OH NOES!!!!

Same here in LA. What's ironic is my friend in NY has iTunes 12.2 up and running on his PC. That's a first. An iTunes update being delayed to loyal Mac users while upstart PC rogues get it first! 😉

it must be coming soon, i can add the albums to my music via iPad and Phone and i see them on IMAC, but u can't play them 😟.... waiting game.....

That'd be great - hopefully your friend is just in an early wave and we all get it soon. But on Windows machine here, still showing 12.1.2 as the latest available build for Windows.

Must be a conspiracy that you are not privy to.

Right now I know that they’re running updates on the App Store which could be why it’s temporarily unavailable for download. I would give it a little time our teams are definitely working as quickly as possible so you can enjoy this awesome new music adventure!

Unfortunately I think those guys are actually serious.

Add me to the list of DISAPPOINTED... not only can't I use 12.2, but iOS 8.4 music is ridiculously hard to use and just crashed on me. It's completely counterintuitive. Try to just pull up an artist and make a playlist... or select music to put in your queue... but I digress

I'm with you. It's a heck of alot smarter to update the iPhones first (seeing as the iDevices are Apple's flagship music devices) and then roll it out on OS X a few hours later. If they tried doing it all at once then everyone's updates would be slower than a fat kid chasing a salad.

It's a 4 hour delay, this isn't the collapse of Apple
