From what I gather, there’s an issue with the microphone on your iPad Air 2 when using some apps. Take a look at the article linked below which will help you test the microphone and resolve common issues related to the microphone.

Jul 2, 2015 10:33 AM in response to Jason Lby dekerman,Thank you for your help. I think I have discovered the problem. It seems one of the two microphones is non-operational and it seems that one microphone is used for other apps while the other is used for iOS function.
