My iPhone6 plus will not connect to iTunes or any other app and keeps asking for my password. What should i do?

Early on today, a message came up on my phone to say that I had not updated my iCloud recently. I pressed ignore and carried on using my phone. A few minutes later I was unable to go on any apps on my phone and it keeps asking for my apple ID. What should I do?
