Q: iOS 8.4 music app

*** apple? iOS 8.4 music app and the radio that you are pushing on us. I didn't want it when it first came out as I have my own music selection. I tried radio and it sucked, now 8.4 forces apple radio onto the unwary. I couldn't believe all the music I deleted from my devices you automatically made me follow these artist who I no longer have interest in. It will take a little getting used to the new music app, it has some good things but gee. Some people may like the radio but for me it just didn't interest me. Also not all countries have the freedom of cheap Internet data, so to use apple radio it is just nasty on data costs. I think I hear Steve Jobs screaming ***

You are slowly becoming Microsoft of the mid 90's . Steve Jobs must be rolling in his grave.

Ahh there it is, the obligatory neo-Microsoft/ Jobs' grave commentary.

I don't want to bother the dead  corpse of Steve Jobs....... I just want the dead corpses at Apple to get it right. Less clutter more ease of use the traditional Apple way.

Here's a tip:  To quickly scroll to the top of the screen, just tap the top bar of your screen, where your carrier info/ signal strength appears.

Ok, that kind of alleviates one problem, except when I don't accidently touch the search button instead, then there is the  other  issue when you play a song it does not instantly bring you to a screen where you can scroll the volume and time slider , you have to scroll up the song that is now playing. Anysolution for that?

    3. I am seriously thinking about getting non-Apple  for my next phone.  Imessage is fraught with problems (because engineers thought it would be smart to attach your phone number to your apple Id).  Music APP is becoming annoying bloatware.

In theory yes, but not for the purposes of an instant messaging system.  Case in point you travel for business or pleasure , you switch sim cards, nobody can contact you until you contact them. Anybody who sends you a message, you your number will have it lost until you put back your sim card. One of my siblings came from Texas to  Canada with their iphone. They did not remove the sim card same veizon one. turned on wifi could not send me a message.

After doing everything finally I pushed her to install blackberry messenger , ...... works perfectly any sim card , any country , any wifi/cell,  any country .

SMS. Dead simple. No apps required. Works on any phone.

Yes, until you have to travel ie switch sim cards, or get charged exorbitant text messaging fees.  Its great to be able to turn on wifi , and voip call people in the USA.  Apple should have made imessage user based. NO ******** ever .

To be honest blackbeery's only problem is user friendliness. Android is user friendly , but does not have a good imessage type system, and hangouts suck.

But if they ever fix that , basically the iphone will have major problems.

TRUER WORDS HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN!!  IT GET MORE BROKEN WITH EVER **** "UPGRADE"!!!!  This new app is GAWD AWFUL and I HATE IT!!  I no longer even attempt to control what is playing in my car through the bluetooth linkup - every day is a total surprise.  People ask me "why is xmas music playing on your stereo?"  I respond, "I'm NOT playing xmas music, my BLOODY PHONE IS!"  I cannot turn off the shuffle function.  It does not pick up where it left off, instead it restarts at the top of my music list - which means for short trips I listen to ABBA OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!  I thought I HATED the LAST update . . . this is WORSE!

Apple Music app lacks the positive usability experience we've all been accustomed to. Why are my albums showing up that I've removed from my phone? I have Show music on this phone and it still showing albums with songs that are faded (which means' they're no longer on my phone... so why do I want to see them?) Why does the shuffle feature not save from last song played on phone -- begin where it left off or just randomize? As soon as I plug phone into car, it shuffles repeatedly from the exact same starting song. The UX is too cluttered for a small device. I don't need to see every album cover at same time. How about a simple skin that shows one album cover at time or just a song listing of music stored only on the phone. I don't want Apple Radio. Give me option to turn it off or hide it. Make it a separate app. called Apple Radio or iRadio. I want my simple music player app, loading songs that were stored on my phone. That's all!

    Hallo!

Is it verified that after IOS 8.4 and till 9.2 when you have the repeat-one chosen when you push forward-next (from the app at iPhone or from handsfree) it doesn't go the next song but plays the same song again and again?

If yes, has anyone found a trick-way another to do it or something similar?

    Thank you in advance!
