My iPhone 5s/iMatch Music app sorting has blown up. It worked for years. All of a sudden on my iPhone the sorting has become a mess.

I have a large iTunes/iMatch (.xml) library specifically for syncing my with iPhone. Worked for years then all of a sudden on my iPhone 5s the sorting has blown up. It's broken up albums, the alphabetical order is messed up and it breaks up compilations. Can I clear it? Can I start over on my iPhone without having to re-do the library on my Macbook Pro? Thanks
