Yes, the windows can display desktop with "Microsoft Generic VGA driver", but, "Microsoft Generic VGA driver" is not a right driver for Intel HD 5000.

Did you attempt to install any other version of the driver on the current Windows installation at any point in time?

(I got only one flash disk on my hand which is create by BCA, and the laptop is disconnect from internet.)
I didn't try the driver from .5621, but i look into the readme file of .5621, it's the same driver as .5640, both are "15.33.8.64.3345".
Do you suggest I still install the .5621 driver?
