Iphone 6 stuck in recovery mode

My iPhone 6 is less than two weeks old, and has started randomly turning blue and shutting down, then falling into an endless reboot. It usually recovers and goes back to normal, but today it's been rebooting for hours! I've tried restarting it, and after reading some similar problems on here I put it into recovery mode in an attempt to restore it to factory settings. I've tried this about 5 times on my mac and it keeps failing to restore my phone, which is now stuck in recovery mode (and I've tried restarting it again). I have the latest iTunes and the latest software on my mac so it isn't that, can anyone help? Phone has been down for 6 hours now.

iPhone 6, iOS 8.4

Have you tried to put your phone into DFU mode and restoring it via itunes?

I had the same problem with it being stuck in recovery mode until I did that.

Connect it to your computer via usb and then put it into DFU mode (google to check how)
