How do I insert a tab into a numbered list?
In Pages v5, it can be as easy as the tab key to indent a list structure, or shift+tab to outdent the list structure. Similarly, you can use the middle tier of buttons in the Alignment section of the Format Text panel to achieve the same result. Without more information about the version of Pages that you are using, or what your particular challenge is, I can only be this general in response.
One can control the lateral starting point (indent) of the list bullet, and the separation of it from the text using the appropriate part of the Bullet & Lists section.
