When will iTunes 12.2 for Mac OS be released?

I could only update to version 12.1.2.27 today -- the release day of Apple Music? What am I missing (besides the music)?

iMac 27", Mac OS X (10.6.2)

You're not missing anything. Apple has not released 12.2.2 as yet.

You'll see; iTunes 12.2 is cominng soon

I updated to Garageband first, then checked for updates again, and it was there. Coincidence?

This is a failure, plain and simple. This is the launch date for Apple Music, I am interested in it.

You need iTumes 12.2 to run Apple Music. It's not available. Back to Spotify until they figure this **** out.
