Q: How do I upload photos from my phone to my Mac using the Photos app?

After the new update, I can't figure out how to upload photos onto the Photos app. I've plugged in my iPhone 5s to my Mac and it did give me the option of uploading. I clicked it but the problem is that it says it has uploaded but i can't seem to find them.

It used to be easier with iPhoto but now it is kind of confusing. I've looked all over the interwebs for a solution but because it is a new app there really hasn't been a solution. Please help! Thanks

Photos is exactly the same process and options as iPhoto with the addition of iCloud Photo Library as an additional option

Look in All Photos at the bottom of the list - it is sorted in the order photos were added - Photos is sorted in the order the photos were actually taken so there you look in moments to the date the photos were taken
