windows boot option is suddenly missing

Hi, two or three ago suddenly the boot option for Windows has disappeared. It is an Imac 27 inch, late 2013 model on OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 (14D136)

No i can only start OSX and it seems that windows was never there? How can i restore this? I normaly press ALT and then two boot options show up, recently only OSX. I did not changed anything. What i did see in the deleted items is a couple of files since the last days, maybe this is related?

From OSX Terminal, can you post the output of the following commands? Remove any personal information as you see fit.

diskutil list

diskutil cs list

sudo gpt -vv -r show /dev/disk0

sudo fdisk /dev/disk0

The "sudo" commands will prompt for your password, and it will not be echoed back. You may also see a warning about improper use of "sudo" and potential data loss due to "abuse" of the command.

You do not seem to have a Windows partition as it is currently shown on disks. If you have not deleted i using BC Assistant or Disk Utility, it may be possible to recover it. You will need to download Testdisk ( http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Step_By_Step ) and scan your HDD (not the SSD) for any lost NTFS partitions. If you download and run Testdisk, scan /dev/rdisk1. Here is a set of starting screens for Testdisk - http://imgur.com/a/PjmnK .

This is a table I use to verify partition sectors.

1. Is the size of your Windows partition ~139GB?

2. The header seems be some where inside the OSX part of your HDD. It is roughly 280GB. Was your Windows size ~277GB?

We can reduce the size of the CS volume/partition on the HDD and see if Windows can be recovered, using the 139GB size. This requires deleting the GPT3, reducing GPT2 and building the partition table with a new GPT2 for the OSX part, and creating a new GPT3 for the NTFS/Windows part.

Can you download GPT Fdisk from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gptfdisk/ and installing it. Once it is installed, can post the output of

sudo gdisk /dev/disk1

?
