Cant Activate Wifi

Hi,

I just updated my iPhone 4s with IOS 8.4 which it requested me to do for access to Apple Music and after the upgrade my wifi activation slider is no longer working which means I no longer have access to Wifi. I have done a factory reset in which I erased my phone completely after switching it off and on a couple of times and getting nowhere. On restart it requested for wifi access and it was able to log in but as soon as I requested for a restore which it did from iCloud it went back to the same situation as after the latest update. So far every other function i.e bluetooth and all the settings sliders including personal hotspot all seem ok but I can't complete my Aps full restore cause of no wifi...

Any suggestions would be welcome and has anyone else experienced this so far?

If the WiFi switch is grayed out or dim, and you restored to factory settings using iTunes without help, there is certainly a hardware problem that will need repair or replacement. Take it to Apple for evaluation.
