I have a problem with Music Subscription

I can't get into the new Music discussions. I wonder if they are very active or not up. For the first time I feel we're being taken advantage of by Mother Apple. The subscription should not auto-renew unless a positive action is taken by the customer, not result from lack of action as is presently the case. In case you want to know how to turn this off, MacWorld has instructions on their website. It's more involved than it should be.
