Q: what happened to airplay

I have a iphone 4s projector that connects by a cable that used airplay to play video through it and ever since the ios 8.3 update its been gone and even after reasearch i could not find any answers to fix this problem

Nothing happened to Airplay. It's a wireless protocol for streaming. It doesn't require a cable.

no it just uses airplay and tv out to connect airplay is gone for some reason

but it actually worked on ios 8.2 and ever since the ios 8.3 and up it says this accessory is not supported by this iphone
