How do you burn photos to a CD? (iPhoto Version 1.0)

I have tried to look up the answer to this question several times but everything I find keeps telling me to click on share and then says I should have an option to click on burn. I don't have that as an option. I am sure it is simple, I just don't know how to do it. Thanks in advance 🙂
